“My previous boiler of 16 years broke down in Nov '22 and in a panic sought quotes from multiple places for replacement. The quotes I got back were ridiculous, ranging from €3.5K to €6k. On a Saturday evening I came across General Gas and emailed them for a quote. Within minutes David got back to me. I requested a quote to move from a system boiler to a combi boiler and he undercut all the previous quotes which was for a straightforward boiler replacement. He recommended the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 25i, the lead in time increased as it was a 2 day job but at that point I had no heating or hot water for a week so decided to stick it out (25 days in total during the coldest days of the year!!). So glad I did - instant hot water at the turn of a tap, no longer having to set timer for a morning shower and got rid of water tanks and the dreaded pump (apartment owners know 😡 !!!) - great system. Gas bills now less than a year ago even with all the increases. Highly recommend General Gas for competitiveness and quality - the price on website is the price you pay unlike many of their competitors. Great value great service.”

I had my boiler for last 16 years and it was on its last legs. We decided to change the system and to have new Bosch Combi boiler installed. It was my pleasure to deal with Dave from the start to the the finish, all meetings arranged in advanced and he was always on time. As all of us, I asked some other installers to review and give us a quote for the work. We decided to go with Dave as he was trying to solve the problem and not create head ache (like the most of the installers do as usual practice 🙂 ).
